Our Story

In 2020, in response to the significant impact of Covid-19 on the financial welfare of families in Prince George’s (PG) County, MD, First Lady, Pastor Staci Burrough, of Restoration Outreach Community Center (ROCC) founded the ROCC Angels Project.

Starting with 8 children and now impacting over 500, the Project serves children and families each year with gifts and a catered meal with the help of partners, sponsors and volunteers who continue to make this event possible.

What's the average cost associated with sponsoring a child?

We recommend a budget of $50-$100 per child; however, we can accommodate most budgets.

Can I sponsor a child if I don't live in Maryland?

Yes, we provide delivery instructions upon sign up. You can also donate to the “ROCC Angels Project” using our cashapp $th3ROCC.

Are my contributions eligible for a tax write-off?

Yes, we’ll provide the necessary documentation upon request.

How do I add my child or school to the registry?

The children on our registry are from partnering schools, non-profit and faith-based organizations in PG County, Maryland. Please fill out the form below to request your child or school be added to the registry.
